The context

We are an independent innovation lab in Berlin. We work at the intersection of art and technology: characters, stories, sound and objects for children, made by artists and engineers together.

We are building a pool of illustrators and animators to work with as projects come up: books in several art styles, character design, and short animations, in many languages.

Who it’s for

  • Illustrators with warm, readable characters
  • 2D, cut-out and paper-collage animators
  • Artists from South Asia and its diaspora especially welcome

What we’d make together

  • Picture-book spreads and covers
  • Character sheets: poses, expressions, turnarounds
  • Short animations of 10–60 seconds
