Work with us / Artists & storytellers

Make stories that travel across cultures.

We work with illustrators, animators, writers, composers, sound designers and voice artists to create characters and stories for children and families, in many languages and from many places.

01 Who we’re looking for

Is this you?

01

Illustrators & character designers

Picture books, characters, worlds and the small details that make them feel alive.

02

Animators

2D, cut-out and 3D animation, from short character tests to series pilots.

03

Writers

Stories for young children, written for reading aloud and listening, in English and the languages families speak at home.

04

Composers & sound designers

Themes, lullabies, jingles and sound worlds for stories and objects.

05

Voice artists

Warm, clear voices for storytelling and characters, in many languages.

06

Cultural advisers

People who make sure a story rings true where it is set.

02 How we work together

Ways to collaborate.

Commissions

A clear brief for a defined piece of work: a book, a set of characters, a theme tune.

Co-creation

We develop a story world together, from the first sketch to the finished piece.

Licensing

Existing work that fits what we make, used with your permission and your name on it.

03 Examples

The kind of work we do.

  • Picture books in three art styles from one set of characters
  • Bedtime audio stories with music and sound effects, in several languages
  • Short animated tests of a character, voiced in English and Urdu
  • A sound library of everyday sounds from South Asian homes and streets

04 What you get

A good collaboration works both ways.

  • Your name on the work, always
  • Your work in front of families in new markets
  • Clear, written agreements before work starts
  • Room to grow: good collaborations come back for the next project

05 Questions

Good to know.

Who owns the work?

It depends on the project and is agreed in writing before work starts. You are always credited, and you can show the work in your portfolio.

Do I need experience with children's media?

No. Care, craft and curiosity matter more. We share what we have learned about making things for small children.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. Most collaborations are remote; our team works between Europe and South Asia.
