2. In short

This website uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and embeds no third-party content. Our fonts are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Hostinger. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data (such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser) to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted after a short period. We have a data processing agreement with Hostinger.

4. Contact form and email

When you write to us, we process your details (name, email, organisation, message) to answer your enquiry, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before a possible agreement) or (f) (our interest in answering enquiries). We delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them. To prevent abuse, when you send the contact or newsletter form we keep a hashed (scrambled) value of your IP address for at most one hour, to limit how many messages can be sent in a short time (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Newsletter

For the newsletter we need your email address. We use double opt-in: you receive an email with a confirmation link, and we only add you once you confirm. We store your email address, chosen language and the times of signup and confirmation, so we can show your consent. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us.

6. Cookies and local storage

We don’t set cookies. We store your choice in the privacy notice in your browser’s local storage, so the notice doesn’t appear on every visit. This is strictly necessary (§ 25(2) TDDDG). We would only use optional tools with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time under “Privacy settings” in the footer.

7. Recipients and transfers

We don’t share or sell your data. It is processed only by our hosting and email provider on our behalf. We don’t intend to transfer it outside the EU.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15–21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or the authority responsible for us. We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
