The context

We are an independent innovation lab in Berlin. We work at the intersection of art and technology: characters, stories, sound and objects for children, made by artists and engineers together.

For summer semester 2027 we are offering a real brief to one or two classes in Berlin: design and animate short moments with our characters, or design a screen-free way for young children to hear stories on their own.

Who it’s for

• Professors and programme leads in animation, illustration, interaction, product, sound or media design
• Bachelor's and master's classes of any size; individual or group work
• Berlin universities and art schools (other cities on request)

What we’d make together

• Character animation tests of 10–30 seconds
• Illustrated scenes and picture-book spreads
• Sound worlds and short themes for a story
• Interaction concepts and prototypes for a screen-free story object

What you get

• A real client with real feedback during the semester
• Our characters, style guides, sounds and reference material
• Students' names on everything we use, and work they can show in portfolios
• A path to paid follow-up projects for the strongest work

Rights, credit and any payment are agreed in writing with you and the students before the project starts. Students are always credited.
